Feature : From cave paintings to digital SLRs, the recorded image has always been a part of our history. This month, KS sheds a bit of light on the darker side of Kansai's past, revisits the views of early British travellers in Japan, and squints through the aperture of an early photographic device that is currently enjoying a renaissance: the pinhole camera.
