Beauty and beastliness

Feature : From eyesore to eye candy, visual clutter and bombardment are part of the everyday life for the city dweller and do not normally warrant comment or attention or even any kind of opinion. There is advertising, signage, graffiti, fashion and a seemingly random mix of architecture. You like it or you lump it or you move out of the city. KS has taken the time to scrutinise this cluttered, unregarded backdrop to our lives. Where once we saw chaos, we now see instances of real fine art, guerrilla outbreaks of self-expression and iconography that may be mere pollution or an insidious assault on freedom of choice.
